About Us

Keep It Simple is proud to be a Life is Good company.

And just like Life is Good, we donate 10% of annual net profits to help kids in need.

Back in 1994, Bert and John Jacobs were two brothers living out of a van, selling their custom t-shirt designs in college dorms up and down the East Coast. Inspired by their mother's resilience and optimism, they printed the first Life is Good shirt — and the rest is history.

Three decades and millions of t-shirts later, our obsession with quality led us to become a national leader in modern tee printing techniques and technology. We realized it was high time to share our expertise and help grow more great businesses while we're at it.

But being the best in the custom tee game isn't the only thing that motivates us. We're also working toward our parent company's original mission: spreading the power of optimism.

That's why Keep It Simple donates 10% of annual net profits to the Life is Good Playmaker Project, helping kids heal from trauma through the power of play. The transformative, play-based trainings that the Playmaker Project provides to early childhood professionals ultimately make a positive impact in the lives of over 1.8 million children every year.
